Custom-Made Options
Frost channels can be tailored for speci昀椀c
applications, including grade 304 or 316
stainless steel for enhanced corrosion
resistance, con昀椀gurations with or without
falls, deep invert pro昀椀les, ‘V’ bottoms, or
heavy-duty designs. Mixed pro昀椀les can
also be incorporated on the same channel
or opposite sides. Contact our Technical
Services Department for assistance with
custom designs.
Design Considerations
When installing channels adjacent to
walls, ensure su昀昀icient space is provided
to accommodate 昀氀ooring manufacturers
edging details. Solid access covers can be
incorporated into channels for areas beneath
equipment or walls, and these can be either
secured or recessed for 昀氀ooring material.

Threshold Drainage
Linear drainage channels o昀昀er an e昀昀ective
solution for protecting building thresholds
from surface water ingress. All Frost pro昀椀les
can be customized with slots or gratings at
surface level to meet speci昀椀c requirements.
For optimal performance, accurate
dimensions must be established for multiple
outlets and pre-installed gullies.
Accessories and Additional
Features
Accessories such as push-in removable
bottle traps, 昀椀lter buckets, and other
options are available to enhance channel
functionality. Dropped sumps can be
included to improve drainage performance
and accommodate larger 昀椀lter buckets or
removable traps. Dual-level drainage allows
for secondary drainage at membrane level
