Installation Guidelines
The following provides general installation advice for linear drainage channels
when embedding in concrete. For detailed, channel-speci昀椀c instructions, refer to
our Technical Department.
Prepare the Channel:
Pipework Connections:
Remove any gratings or clamping
frames.
Turn the channel upside down (base
facing upward) carefully to avoid
twisting.
Complete pipework joints below the
channel with appropriate coupling.
Secure Channel:
For multiple sections, apply silicone
sealant to the jointing 昀氀ange faces and
securely bolt sections together. Rubber
gaskets are available upon request.
Grout build-in ties and adjustment
legs 昀椀rmly in place. Perform a water
test at this stage to check alignment,
fall e昀昀iciency, joint integrity, and for
any signs of deformation or damage.
Contact our Technical Services
Department for guidance.
Connecting to Frost Gully:
Back昀椀ll and Set:
Assemble Channel Sections:
Follow the speci昀椀c instructions
provided with the gully.
Position the Channel:
Turn the channel the correct way up
and lower it into the trench, insterting
the spigot outlet into any installed

Before back昀椀lling, locally protect
channel show 昀氀anges, place heavy
weights on the channel to prevent
lifting or movement.
Use min concrete class C30/37,
ensuring even 昀氀ow under and around
the channel to avoid voids. Remove
any material that falls into the channel
immediately.
