3. INSTALL BODY
Connect body (with spigot adaptor if
applicable) to the pipework. All our
bodies can be used in solid 昀氀oors.
Use a wide 昀氀anged body for timber
decks. The 昀氀ange can be drilled for
昀椀xings or use an underdeck clamp
(33.9610 or 33.9620) to 昀椀x assembly.
If the deck is recessed for the 昀氀ange,
consider the need to reinforce the cut
timber edge.
4. DRESS MEMBRANE AND FIT
CLAMP
If used, dress the membrane over
the 昀氀ange to the edge of the body
sump in accordance with membrane
manufacturer’s instructions ensuring
the membrane does not restrict the
outlet or threads for the grating.
Bolt the membrane clamping collar
to the body. Thin membranes may
require the screw length to be
reduced.
Note: some clamps are reversible to
increase height adjustability to the
昀椀nished 昀氀oor level. In some cases, e.g.
large sump bodies (31.1024 etc), the
membrane clamp must be used as it
connects the grating to the body.
